This is a beautiful Rolex Art Deco watch, dating from 1926 and in very good condition for its age - better and brighter than photographed. The watch was originally made as a gents watch but is very small by today’s standards, so will either suit a gent who prefers a small watch or a lady [please check case measurements below]. It features a gorgeous solid 9ct pink gold case, a very clean Art Deco dial and a quality Rolex 15 jewel movement. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order. The watch comes complete with a brown leather strap, and a new, quality presentation case. I sense it will make someone a very special Christmas present.

The solid 9ct pink gold case is in very good, gleaming condition and features an unusual bezel, which is flattened at the 12,3,6 and 9 positions. It measures 29mm, excluding the winding crown x 32mm long, including the solid gold fixed bar lugs. The back closes correctly and the inside back is signed ‘Rolex’, ‘RWCLtd’, ‘World’s records gold medal’, ‘Geneva Suisse’, the ‘30494’ movement reference number and carries British hallmarks for solid 9ct gold, dating to 1926. This shows that the watch was made for the British market.

The Art Deco dial is really beautiful and is in very clean condition. It is signed ‘Rolex’. The original blued steel hands are in excellent unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.

The original hand-wound Rolex movement is in very good, bright condition for its age, and is signed 'Rolex’, 15 Jewels’ and ‘Swiss made’. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order for its age.

This lovely watch is on a brown leather strap, which suits it perfectly. The watch comes complete with a new, quality presentation case, for safekeeping and for easy wrapping as a gift to truly remember.
